Drury Wants to Stay
Monday, 31st Dec 2012 12:53

Midfielder Andy Drury says he’d like to stay with the Blues when his contract is up at the end of the season, but is yet to be offered new terms.

The 29-year-old told the club site: “Of course I would like to stay because Ipswich is a great club, but I don’t know what is happening on that front to be honest.

“Nobody has spoken to me about a new contract and obviously with Mick coming in there has been a lot of change at the club.

“I’m just concentrating on my football and we will just wait and see what happens with that as the season progresses. But, like I said, I would love to stay here as I’m really enjoying myself.”

Agree Sindres posts.

Caresy - if you were manager we'd have a whole team of 'decent blokes', with PJ playing up front.... and be in League 2.

So remind Petermorris what exactly has Chopra done for the club or team since arriving other than have the club pay off his gambling debts, have the club pay for a nice holiday in the sun and all the time get paid for the honour of (not) playing for Ipswich Town FC.
Why is it so bad to be a decent bloke? The club used to be full of decent blokes people like Sir Bobby Robson. You telling me thats wrong.

Davin 44 - Drury was great at Wolves, our most creative player. You are not going to get much better - when all we attract is Reo-Coker who IMO is v average.
