Town should have many of this week's additions to the injury list returning as Arsenal visit tomorrow. Titus Bramble, Sixto Peralta and Mark Venus are all expected to be in the side after missing the game at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Finidi George has trained but is more likely to start on the bench, although some role for the Nigerian looks certain. George Burley said of the summer signing: "Finidi is an excellent player with great qualities. He is a fantastic professional and his return will be a big boost for everybody. I bought him to give us width and score goals."

Martijn Reuser was back in training yesterday and George Burley will assess his fitness before making any decisions. Alun Armstrong is rated as 50/50 to make it tomorrow. Marcus Bent will come back into the side after missing out in the Worthington Cup - he had already appeared for Blackburn this season. One from Armstrong, Naylor or Darren Bent will start alongside him.

Matteo Sereni had a slight tightness in the back yesterday, but his problem is not thought of as serious enough to keep him from the game.

The returning Titus Bramble hopes to add Patrick Viera's shirt to the already bulging wardrobe of star player's shirts he has collected since his Premiership debut at Spurs last season. There he picked up Sol Campbell's.

With Marcus Stewart out it seems Mark Venus, who makes his 250th appearance tomorrow, wants the penaty-taker's role once again. While saying that Stewart was number one from the spot Venus said: "If the opportunity came up and I felt confident during a game, I would take them while he was not playing."

However, had Town been given a penalty against Inter last week it would have been Jamie Clapham who would have taken the kick. Clapham took the crucial third penalty in the play-off semi-final with Bolton, although prior to that he had only ever taken one other kick, in the slightly less stressful situation of a Spurs reserve game.
