Martin: Town Now a Different Proposition Friday, 1st Mar 2013 06:00 Town winger Lee Martin isn’t making any predictions ahead of Saturday’s visit from promotion-chasing Leicester but he is certain the outcome will be a lot closer than when the teams met earlier this season. Martin played the entire 90 minutes at the King Power Stadium in November when the Foxes romped to a 6-0 win and inflicted on Ipswich their worst defeat since Mick McCarthy took over as manager earlier the same month. The ex-Manchester United player said: “We’re a different team now. There’s a lot more focus and we’re a lot more organised, which is testament to the manager. We’ve had 32 points since the gaffer’s come in and that speaks for itself. It’s brilliant. “It was tough being on the end of such a heavy defeat. It was early days for the manager but we were still 'milky', as he likes to say, which is a great term. Obviously it’s a bad memory but we have a chance to put that right now and I’m looking forward to it. “We’re a lot more organised and better at the back. That’s something we haven’t had for a long time, about three years when Gareth McAuley was here. "Taking everything into consideration 32 points since November shows how well we have developed and we’re looking at it in a positive light.”
