Wordsworth and Nouble Join New MD at Mulberry Tree on Supporters Day
Friday, 15th Mar 2013 15:03
Recent signings Anthony Wordsworth and Frank Nouble and player liaison officer Simon Milton will join new MD Ian Milne at the Mulberry Tree on Woodbridge Road from 12.15pm until 1pm on Saturday ahead of the game against Bolton. They will be taking questions from fans, signing autographs and having their photographs taken at one of the events at the Supporters Club’s annual Supporters Day.
BBC Radio Suffolk's Life's a Pitch will also be coming live from the Mulberry Tree between noon and 2pm.
After the Blues have, hopefully, sent Bolton Wanderers back to Lancashire having been soundly beaten, there will be further events in Legends in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand, which will have its opening hours extended until 7pm.
There will be a display from the ITFC Charitable Trust's archive project with memorabilia from Town's history, and a chance to talk to club archivist Pat Godbold, who was secretary to Sir Alf Ramsey, Sir Bobby Robson and George Burley amongst other Blues bosses, and representatives from the archive project.
The England-Wales rugby union international will be on the big screens, while a number of other events are also planned.
Post-Legends, the Supporters Club plan a night in Ipswich with food and a few drinks. If anyone wants to come along, please contact Liz Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to book a table. Options include the Dhaka (Indian) and Rios (Brazilian).

How Do You Think Ipswich Should Go Forward? (Mk II) by Luka
It was a dull, gloomy day in September and two teams were bidding for our prised assets. My how we have progressed since.
What Do Stewards Actually Do? by TimS
Have you ever spoken to a steward at a football match, or barged passed these marshals desperately trying to find your seat, or your place to stand? Stewards are the people who are dressed in shockingly bright and bulky clothes.

If Statistics Won Games: Millwall 0-2 Ipswich by Kropotkin123
Welcome back to the fallacious blog that inspired audiences worldwide to believe we had a chance of beating Derby, predominantly because it managed to finally get a prediction correct. After last week’s forecast turned out to be the biggest let-down since The Matrix Reloaded hit the cinemas, If Stats Won Games returns the once again back the Blue Army!
A Decade Apart: 2005 v 2015 by wadey
On January 1st 2005 I was sitting (well standing) in what has been known as the North Stand or Sir Bobby Robson lower to you newbies. West Ham were the team coming to Portman Road. Being an East London boy, this was my biggest game of the season due to childhood abuse (banter) from school-mates. Sadly we lost 2-0. They ended getting promoted and we didn't.
