Championship Fixtures Out on Wednesday
Tuesday, 18th Jun 2013 15:51

Town’s fixtures for the 2013/14 campaign will be announced on Wednesday morning at 9am when they will be available on TWTD. The new season starts on Saturday 3rd August.

Four sides the Blues won’t be meeting on the opening weekend of the season are Burnley, Bolton, Derby and Blackburn, who are involved in special anniversary fixtures celebrating the Football League’s 125th year.

Yesterday, Town drew League One Stevenage away in the first round of the Capital One Cup, a game which will be played in the midweek following the opening Championship fixtures.

Wont be away at Sheffield Wednesday either seeing as Sheffield United are at home first game of the season.

Ill take the premier league club who's come down with the biggest pre-season personnel reshuffle. Perfect time to get a result at one of the tougher away fixtures. QPR away?

Obviously we're all guessing, I'm gonna predict Wigan at home for the opener.

Wigan, QPR or Reading. If only Norwich came down

We are usually at home and I can see a recently relegated side.

The picture when murph signed showed the pitch looking smart, are we entitled to request an away game opener if not ready?

Is that a picture of the ground now, if so then the pitch is looking great!

Have you not noticed in all these years that it alternates each year? One year your opener is at home, the next year it's away and so on. We played Blackburn at home last year so we'll be away against someone...

Thats not the pitch now, the goals wouldn't be up. Most interested in the final game & where we'll be celebrating our promotion. Don't mind if its Wembley.
