Contrary to yesterday's reports it appears that Titus Bramble was not arrested at all and merely spent time at a police station sleeping things off after a night out in Colchester. Reports yesterday claimed the youngster had been arrested and then released without charge.

Bramble's agent Jonathan Barnett said the matter had been "blown out of all proportion". Barnett said that a taxi-driver had been unable to wake the Town defender after he had had a night out in Colchester and the driver had taken him to a police station where the defender slept it off. Barnett said: "He wasn't arrested, he was just held until he woke up in the early morning. They just wanted him to wake up."
