Tommy Smith and New Zealand lost 2-0 to the UAE in the final of the OSN Cup in a sweltering Riyadh this evening. The Blues centre-half was winning his 24th full cap.

The UAE went ahead via Ahmad Khalil in the 11th minute with Ali Mabkhout adding the second on the hour mark.

Hegansheroes added 17:27 - Sep 10 Would not be surprised at all if Smith was "rested" at the weekend because as thebeat says MM seems t be determined to play Berra because he was with him at Wolves, does not inspire me as Tommy Smith is probably as big a goal threat as any one even though Berra has scored.
