Listen Now: De Vos and Bullard on Life's a Pitch Saturday, 21st Sep 2013 11:50 Ex-Town and Wigan men Jimmy Bullard and Jason de Vos are this week’s star guests on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch, which is live over Saturday lunchtime (midday to 2pm). Stand-in presenter Jon Wright is joined by the show’s regulars, legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham. Bullard left the Blues last summer and after a short spell with the MK Dons hung up his boots, while de Vos, who joined Town from the Latics in 2004 and four spent years at Portman Road before retiring, is now a pundit for TSN back in his native Canada. Last time Town were at the DW Stadium, then the JJB, in March 2005 the pair were in opposite camps as Joe Royle’s Blues and Paul Jewell’s Wigan battled it out for the top two Championship positions along with Mick McCarthy’s Sunderland. Will Town’s current side avenge that 1-0 defeat — courtesy of a Nathan Ellington penalty — on Sunday when the teams meet in the league for the first time since the Latics pipped Town to promotion? Add your thoughts on that or anything else via email or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK. The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM or online here. Last week's programme can be heard here.
