The competition to win a cashmere scarf kindly supplied by Savile Rogue received unprecedented interest with just under 500 people entering.

Savile Rogue scarves give a nod to football terraces of yesteryear, shunning in-your-face logos and cheap nylon in favour of a traditional design and the comfort, quality and warmth of top grade wool.

It's the sort of scarf you would be happy to wear even when you’re not at the match.

Tim Wilkins of Kent correctly identified that Tom Baker was the actor who famously wore a scarf in Dr Who and had his entry picked at random.
