Naylor on Future
Naylor on Future

Richard Naylor has spoken about his future, which like Wayne Brown's, looks virtually certain to be away from Portman Road. Although today's claim that he was Bramall Lane-bound turned out to be well wide of the mark, Rotherham have already come in for him and others are likely to follow suit.

The 24-year-old striker said: "I would be happy to go on loan, if it was the right move for me. I need to speak to the manager to find out what's happening. It has been a few days since we last had a chat."

Recent weeks have seen a flurry of loan requests at Portman Road which doesn't come as a shock to George Burley: "I am not surprised that First Division and Second Division clubs are showing an interest in some of our players. I have spoken to one or two clubs about Richard, but Sheffield United aren't one of them."
