U21 Game at Cardiff Live on YouTube - Updated
Sunday, 9th Mar 2014 09:44

Cardiff City are streaming this morning’s U21 game against the Blues at the Cardiff City Stadium live on their official YouTube channel (KO 11.30).

If you happen to be in the Welsh capital, the Bluebirds are offering entry and car parking for free.

Former Cardiff striker Alan Lee is the only senior player to have made the trip with Kyle Hammond, Matt Clarke and Omar Sowunmi amongst those in the travelling party. Jordan Adekunle misses out with a groin injury.

Town again include trialists Sam Westley, Darren McQueen and Roman Michael-Percil.

U21s: Crowe, Hammond, Westley, M Clarke, Sowunmi, Lawrence, Berkane, Willbye, Michael-Percil, Lee, McQueen. Subs: McDermid, Leddy, G Clarke, Galvin.

Indeed, thanks very much. I wish more clubs did this, very good use of YouTube.

Fantastic, will watch with interest. I wonder how much it costs Cardiff to provide this?

Simple things like this hold the supporting community together, for relatively little outlay, regardless of how (badly) the first team are playing. Orient do a Podcast - same idea. All clubs should do this - especially us.

2-1 ipswich would have been the fair result. Everyone really supprised me in how well they all played! Lots of pace down the wings, decent freekicks and balls into the area. However shakey at times at the back, with Crowe being the one player who for me didn't impress. Then a typical last kick of the game equalise.. Grrr..full time 2-2

I thought Hammond, Michael-Percil and McQueen looked all very good. Crowe made a couple of good stops, especially point-blank near own goal from Clarke (M); but came out and missed the ball for their first goal. Alan Lee was a real handful for the opposition - and scored !

Willbye and Westley looked okay. Sowunmi had a stinker - distribution terrible, and too easily lost the ball / knocked off it.

Good to see the game. Shame ITFC let in two relatively soft goals - poor goalkeeping, looked like, for the first; bad pass out of the box (don't know who by) gave the ball away for their second. And a free header was missed by ... forgot who, from a dangerous free kick.

Matt Clarke missed the free header - and almost scored that OG that Crowe somehow kept out.

The number 4, was it, who hoiked the ball out badly, then got on the wrong side of Griffith and let him score their equaliser.

Sowunmi's positional play was poor, too. Hope he's not like that every week.

It was the number 6 who was at fault twice for the last goal.

Sowumni reminded me frighteningly of some of Titus' calamaties. Hammond MoM for me
