Today is the last day to bid to line up alongside Kieron Dyer or get on the end of a Darren Currie cross at a special fundraising football match.

West Suffolk Hospital Charity is giving two people the chance to play alongside John Wark, Simon Milton and a host of other Ipswich Town legends to raise money for the Hospital’s dementia campaign and ITFC Academy.

The Legends team will take on the Hospital's Forget-Me-Not FC on Sunday 18th May at Bury Town's Ram Meadow.

There are two spots up for grabs in the Legends squad with an auction for the places ending at 5pm tonight (Friday 28th March). Anyone interested should place their bid by emailing dave.gooderham@wsh.nhs.uk.

The current Ipswich Town line-up includes John Wark, Simon Milton, James Scowcroft, Gavin Johnson, Kieron Dyer, Darren Currie and Alan Lee with more players announced in due course.

Tickets for the game will be sold on the gate, priced £10 adults and £5 children. An auction, run by Edward Crichton from Bury-based Lacy Scott and Knight, will also take place after the match.

All proceeds from the event will be split between the hospital and the ITFC Academy, while Bury Town Football Club will benefit from food and bar sales on the day.
