Town boss Mick McCarthy has made two changes for this evening’s game at Huddersfield with Paul Anderson and Stephen Hunt coming back into the side in place of Anthony Wordsworth and Frank Nouble.

The Blues are otherwise unchanged with the back four together for the 25th league game in succession. On-loan Manchester City winger Alex Henshall is on the bench for the first time with Paul Green dropping out of the 18.

Green, Jay Tabb and Paul Taylor all travelled but are left out of the matchday squad.

I would imagine this system will play with 2 holding mids then 3 infront ando, joneista and hunty providing support for the striker. surely this means that woody is competing for a place with williams. Anyone in their right mind knows those decisions are a joke given the importance of tonight... Again a must win game and we're hoping to win it with what we have on the bench when the game gets a bit stretched. Put me in a hole and f**king bury me... Now i have to tune in listen to the bumbling Alex Mathie and 45 - 60 minutes of uneventful football...

DanLyles added 19:30 - Apr 8 Both Wordsworth and Taylor have worked really hard when I've seen them. What is more, they add creativity, pace and potentially more goals than the likes of Hyam and Anderson. As much as I appreciate the job MM is doing, I can't help but think leaving these more creative (yet still hard working) players out at the expense of less talented individuals will be the difference between us finishing in or outside the top 6. Regardless, we should still have enough to beat Huddersfield tonight.

boysinblue added 19:30 - Apr 8 Wordy's getting the Taylor treatment. I feel both of them have been treated very unfairly. If we win tonight then well done MM, if it's a 0-0 then I fear a backlash. I'm not bashing MM cos I think he's done sterling job since he's come here, but if he'd just show a tad more ambition we'd be comfortably in the play-off by now.

Murphy is doing surprisingly well as the lone striker and Williams is looking good in that place between midfield and attack. At the risk of boring everyone with a long-standing moan of mine, I would like to see a right-back, preferably a young right-back, at right-back as opposed to a centre-back.

TimmyH added 19:38 - Apr 8 Agree about the impact Nouble makes as a sub so that's understandable but Wordsworth being dropped again is very strange. About time Anderson and Hunt had an impact on a game as so far have not been impressed particularly with Anderson.
