Player of the Year Voting at Doncaster Game
Player of the Year Voting at Doncaster Game
Wednesday, 9th Apr 2014 10:19

Voting for this season’s Supporters’ Player of the Year will take place around the ground prior to Saturday’s home game against Doncaster Rovers.

Look out for representatives of the Supporters Club with their clipboards wearing fetching yellow tabards based near to the programme kiosks. Online voting has started on the Supporters Club’s website.

The winner will be announced at the Player Awards Evening, which will be held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite on Saturday from 7pm.

The Town first team squad and coaching staff, including manager Mick McCarthy and his assistant Terry Connor, will once again be in attendance.

During the evening, presentations will be made to the Player of the Year, all the players who made their full debut during the season, as well as the Academy Player of the Year, along with a special presentation to the Young Fan of the Year. The evening is also a great opportunity to collect autographs and have photos taken with players.

Tickets to the Player Awards Evening cost £20 and include the presentations and a buffet. They are available from officialitsc@btinternet.com or by phone on 07968 876504. Further details can be found on www.itfcsupporters.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Legends will be open until 7pm after Saturday’s match for anyone, regardless of whether they are attending the Player Awards Evening. It will also open until 7pm on Easter Monday when Town take on fellow play-off challengers AFC Bournemouth.

Dids has to be a contender, but Berra has also been excellent as has Skuse, tough choice this year which is nice for a change

Murphy must be in with a shout.

I think Dids would have got my vote if he'd of still been playing, but I'd be happy for either Murphy or Bera to win it, hard to split them on their respective efforts this season

So many candidates, Murphy, Berra and McGoldrick stand out but others like Cresswell, Smith and Skuse have been impressive too!

Gotta be Sylvan Ebanks-Blake or Paul Taylor.

After thinking Christophe Berra for a long time, I actually think McGoldrick deserves it. Where would we be in the league without his goals??

Gotta be Berrra for me, has been solid as a rock all season. If Didsy would've played 5 more games it would've been him because he was different class until he got injured, just as Jonny is different class now. Feel we only really started to notice Murph more and he also started playing better once dids got injured which has only been 3 months so Berra all the way for me

I wouldn't argue with any of the back four or Murphy.

Berra! I like the fact that he has scored 1 in 7 for us so far as opposed to his 0 in 141 for Wolves. Great Signing, however I would like to think that McGoldrick would have won if he hadn't got injured.

Phil, let us not forget this also. Worth putting a reminder on here? Respect to the 96.
