Town fan Graeme Brooke has published a book about his years following the Blues, Adventures of a Tractor Boy.

“It is the tales of me following Ipswich Town and the obsession of doing so and all of the insane and utterly mad stories associated with it,” Graeme explained.

“It is loosely based on Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch. You do not have to be a football supporter to enjoy it, the stories are all humorous and relate to anyone with an obsession. If you have an obsession and like football then perfect.

“There are a number of references to characters who I have met over the years following Ipswich home and abroad, so you may even get a mention, you never know!

“One hundred per cent of the profits from the book will be donated to Colchester Special Care Baby Unit at Colchester Hospital who nursed my youngest daughter Leah when she was born eight weeks premature and who is now thankfully a healthy eight-year-old season ticket holder and Junior Blue, so it is all in a good cause.

trncbluearmy added 06:55 - May 29 Graeme Sold up my business and retired to North Cyprus (the Turkish Part) in 2008 Get back for start of season, some London games and any big games. The play offs would have cost me a fortune, so in a funny way I was quite relieved we did not qualify as I don`t think we are quite there yet. But it`s great to have our Team back with players that care and a manager who knows what he is doing. Next season with Super Mick in charge and a couple of decent signings we are straight up! Have ordered the book and I hope plenty of other Town fans do the same, only £6.99 on Amazon worth every penny which goes to a super cause. COYB
