Dozzell in England Squad
Friday, 8th Aug 2014 14:28

Academy schoolboy Andre Dozzell has been called into the England U16 squad for a friendly against Belgium at St George’s Park on August 20th (KO 3pm).

Dozzell, who is currently away with the U15s at the Macron Galway Cup, is the son of former Blue Jason.

In January, the midfielder was included in an England training camp having been identified as a potential player for the Victory Shield, the annual home nations U16s tournament which is shown live on Sky Sports in October and November.

Here's hoping Andre can force his way into our first team in four years time. Jason was the sort of goalscoring central midfielder we desperately need now made alot of goal assists for Chris Kiwomya. What good times those were!

Well done and good luck, good to see young Andre doing well. Surely this call up is worth that extra 0.3% we needed for Cat 1.
