Fancy Starting a Walking Football Team?
Fancy Starting a Walking Football Team?
Wednesday, 27th Aug 2014 12:36

Kesgrave Community Centre is keen to introduce the growing sport of walking football as an activity for the over-50s, so if you’re interested in starting up your own team they would like to hear from you.

Walking football is a slow version of the game, giving the over-50s an opportunity to get back into football and become more active, without the added pressure of keeping up with a fast pace.

If you’re interested in setting up and running a team contact Cheryl Tye, the leisure and community co-ordinator at KWMCC by email.

For more information about KWMCC and its activities please visit their website or you can follow them on Facebook.

Plus there's always the chance you may get scouted by Mick and thrown into our midfield where lack of mobility is considered to be a highly desirable attribute.
