Williams Rejoins Town
Monday, 29th Sep 2014 09:07

Crystal Palace’s Jonny Williams is at Town’s Playford Road training ground this morning and is undergoing cryotherapy with the rest of the squad. On Saturday, TWTD was first to reveal that the 20-year-old would be back with the Blues today to formalise a second loan spell.

The Wales international enjoyed a hugely successful stint with Town towards the end of last season, scoring one goal in 11 starts and two sub appearances.

Isn't cryotherapy when they put living bodies into deep freeze, in a sort of state of hibernation, so that they can be revived at a later time?

If so, maybe we have taken Joniesta with a view to the 2020 promotion push.

This certainly fits the old football cliché of only bring in new faces that improve upon the ones you've already got. Great news.

Phil - Apologies, I saw you on Saturday behind the directors box, but you were mid conversation so didn't say hello. I was going to chat when I came out of the toilets, but you'd gone. Anyway, hello.

Wonderful news! We have so many midfield options now which is what is needed for the busy Christmas periods. Cannot wait to see Williams and McGoldrick in the same team as each other. The squad is looking very strong at the minute, let's now hope we avoid any injuries. Remember, we still have Stewart to come back as yet. COYB!

I have to admit I was playing it cool on Saturday and saying we don't need him and that we have a good sways etc but that was because I didn't think we would get him back. A bit like when a girl dumps you and you're like yeah I didn't need her anyway and that we are better off without.

This is brilliant news and has made my day. Watch out championship the tractor boys are rolling.

Big win against Wednesday tomorrow to lay down a statement of intent

I wonder if MM is still denying it ????? He was so adamant about it on Sat. or perhaps he did not know ??????
Any way get this Cryotherapy out of the way (whatever it is) and get down to the business of Sheffield Wed. and Notts Forest !!!!!

Whilst I am not knocking adding quality players to the squad we will son have enough midfield players to fill the North Stand.

Let me say now I am very concerned about our lack of cover up front and this is what we should be strengthening, especially as M people could also be away on international duty and could piick up injuries there.

Lets hope for a good positive ambiyous display tomorrow---see you there all who are going.
