Irish Boss to Watch Town
Tuesday, 30th Sep 2014 15:11

Republic of Ireland boss Martin O’Neill will watch Town’s game at Sheffield Wednesday this evening, according to Irish reports.

O’Neill recently named Daryl Murphy and Conor Sammon in his provisional 37-man squad ahead of next month’s Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Germany and confirmed that David McGoldrick is in his future plans.

McGoldrick, who was recently watched by Steve Guppy, a member of O'Neill's staff, has pledged his international allegiance to Ireland and is awaiting the completion of paperwork relating to his qualification.

In addition to those three, midfielder Jay Tabb won caps at U21 level, while skipper Luke Chambers also qualifies for Ireland.

I wonder why he didn't just send his assistant instead?

His assistant isn't welcome - nor will he ever be.

His assistant looks like a homeless person, nobody would recognize him anyway!

TimmyH, I for one would recognize him and what he did to our club and then tell him in no uncertain terms the 2nd word being "off"

Only the assistant would think to disguise himself as Gerry Adams
