Charlton Game On Sky
Charlton Game On Sky
Thursday, 2nd Oct 2014 11:10

Town’s game at Charlton on Saturday 29th November has switched to a 12.15pm kick-off for live Sky coverage.

The match will be the fourth time the Blues have been shown live on Sky this season, the Fulham and Norwich home games and the away match at Wigan having previously been screened.

Meanwhile, Town say they have around 140 tickets remaining on sale for Sunday's game at Nottingham Forest, which isn't on Sky, it moved as Notts County are also at home this weekend. They will be sold online at ITFC Direct until 3pm today or at Planet Blue until 12pm on Friday.

Another batch of 500 tickets will be sold at Forest's away ticket office behind the Brian Clough Stand on the day, cash only with the price of adult and senior tickets increased by £2.

Proof, if needed, that we are moving forward.

A championship club on tele four times before we're even half way through the season! Must be a record, it deffently is for us anyway!

Well seeing as they can no longer show Leicester every other week it's about time they looked at other clubs

Well there's a game that would never have been chosen by Sky in the last couple of seasons! No need for suspicion about whether the interest is only in our opponents either - while I've been impressed with Charlton's improvement this season, they haven't been any better than us.

Just wish they wouldn't keep picking games that I've already planned on going to!

We'll have to show Naarwich how to do it against Charlton - in front of the cameras! COYB!

Amazing that we're on tv quite a bit now. But bit disappointing they chose this one as we would have probably sold out had it not been televised. Still should take a decent following though, i'll be there nonetheless!

Obviously trying make amends for our pathetic coverage last season when Leicester and Leeds seemed to be on every other week. Already booked the weekend in London and looking forward to it, just hope it doesn't deter our fans from travelling as we usually get a tremendous following at The Valley.

Shame we don't get anything for it and Charlton only get around £60k!

If a PL club is shown they get £750k each game after a £7.5m minimum as a 'facility fee'

Was planning on going to this one and still will. Love an away day, especially a London away day. Love away games at that time of the season too when it's a bit cold and the weather is a bit crap but we travel in numbers and get behind the boys. I'm a bit weird like that ha!

Does mean less pre match drinking time though. Guess i'll have to get up earlier to make up for it!

Forget the chippy, see you in the Antigallican, before to get ready, and after to celebrate.

Phew!
That means they'll leave the Bournemouth game alone.
Already booked train tickets for that one. Good to see us get so much coverage, but still disagree with how they can change kick off times & dates at such short notice.

We should still sell out, not far at all and always a quality away day! Atmosphere in the away end last year was brilliant when we won 1-0.

The pub round the corner is a proper away day pub too! Quick serving and good beer options. Hopefully its open early enough!

Is there anywhere that is streaming the Notts Forest v Ipswich game? I know it is not on Sky but Bet 365 seem to be promoting it.

Booked weekend away in London to catch Charlton game. This now means we can spend longer in London after the match. Happy days!

Will be going anyway. Hope we still take a huge crowd. Last year atmosphere at Charlton was fantastic. Come on boys only a short trip down the road. We're all bored of watching us on sky now anyway.

The arm chair fans must be delighted they have never seen town play so much thanks to Sky this season.
