Historical Programmes Fetch Big Prices Monday, 17th Nov 2014 09:02 Town programme collectors packed the auction room at Lockdales of Martlesham over the weekend to spend more than £5,000. Nearly 80 programmes from the 1930s, 40s and 50s were up for grabs and the majority went for well over £100. Auction manager James Sadler, a Portman Road season ticket holder, said: "It was a spectacular sale. Nearly everything was sold. It was brilliant that so many genuine Town fans got what they wanted.” Other clubs’ programmes were also on sale and 30 from Exeter City dating from the 1930s and 40s were sold for a total of £1,900.
