St Ledger and Wells Start for U21s
Friday, 28th Nov 2014 18:51

New signing Sean St Ledger and trialist left-back George Wells both start for Town’s U21s against Millwall at the Den this evening (KO 7pm).

Manager Mick McCarthy said yesterday that St Ledger, 29, would play for the U21s this evening but isn’t far away from being ready for first-team action.

Wells is currently with Ryman League Premier Division Hampton and Richmond, having been with Chelsea and QPR’s academies as a schoolboy.

The 18-year-old previously played for Town in the U21 games against Swansea and QPR and impressed McCarthy enough to be given the chance to train with the squad at Playford Road.

U21s: Crowe, Emmanuel, Wells, Guldbrandsen, St Ledger, Robinson, Galvin, Benyu, McQueen, McLoughlin, Patterson. Subs: Marsden, Wyatt, Blanchfield, Ramadan, Ford.
