FA Cup Ticket Prices Set
Thursday, 11th Dec 2014 17:09

Adult tickets for Town’s FA Cup third round tie away against Premier League Southampton on Sunday 4th January (KO 3pm) have been set at £10 with concessions at £5 and under-17s seats £3.

The Blues hope to have the first of around 3,100 tickets on sale on Friday, if not on Monday, with Gold Card holders entitled to purchase their seats first followed by season ticket and Silver Card holders.

The club will confirm the precise details of sales dates once they have received the tickets from the Saints.

Concessions tickets are available to young adults aged 17 to 21 and seniors aged 65 and over.

That's incredibly low pricing, no?
Something tells me that if this were at FPR then we would be fleecing fans for at least £35 a ticket.
ITFC take note, this is how you should treat your fans!

Well done The Saints. I may well make the trip now. Should be a decent crowd & a good following by our fans.

Amazing value. Would absolutely love a good cup run, its long overdue but not if it hinders our promotion push.

If I remember rightly, FA Cup prices are agreed between the clubs rather than just by the home club so not just down to the Saints! Receipts are split something like 45-45-10, I seem to recall with the FA getting the 10.

You are correct Phil and I believe the crowd would be bigger at Southampton

Does this mean the game definitely won't get moved for TV??

Anything below £15 has to be agreed between the two clubs, so those having a go at Town should maybe give them some credit!

Interesting. Firstly, this is great news and well done to both clubs. But why don't ipswich negotiate a better price for home games??

BigG1983... You not see the price when we played Preston last season then? Same situation, team in higher league player team from league below....

At these prices it makes the trip to Southampton quite attractive -win or lose I hope its a better match than the home game against Preston last year which was dire regardless of the cost.
