To think that Southampton replay on BBC was £72,000 tv money plus gate receipts paid for Sears £100k transfer

I hope we give a better showing than previous 2 TV games because they have been nothing short of embarrassing!

I know the extra income is handy but would prefer not to be on tv for a home game on a Bank Holiday as any extra supporters thinking of coming along will probably change their mind.
Hope we do ourselves justice this time.

How about this one town. Think it is a brill idea.

Make this into a £10 game and kids for £3. Extra revenue from tv will pay for shortfall, but if we could get 28k or more to top of table class, has to be worth the extra man that the crowd can be when there is almost a full house.

Might just prise some armchair supporters off their seats!!!!

28K crowd does not equate to an 'extra man' - was a much better atmosphere on Tuesday when there was only 17000 fans there. The crowd at the Southampton game was embarrassingly quiet.

Was planning to drive from Poole to Ipswich for this game when it was on Saturday but as it is now on Good Friday I cannot justify it - down vote me if you must, but there are some days when other things in life matter way more than football - even one of the top games of the season (sorry to Bill Shankley and all!). I'll be focusing on the sacrificial death of my Lord and Saviour Jesus that day of all days

But whilst I still can't be at the game, please forgive me being one very keen armchair fan - but pray for me as I'll be watching in Bournemouth where my family and I are well and truly out-numbered !!!
