Pro Deal For Benyu
Thursday, 19th Feb 2015 16:36

Academy scholar Kundai Benyu is understood to be close to signing a two-and-a-half-year professional contract with the Blues.

The 17-year-old first-year scholar has been a regular in the centre of midfield for the U21s all season and has impressed manager Mick McCarthy.

The Camden-born youngster recently broke into the first-team squad and travelled to the away game at Brighton, having been handed senior squad number 31, but is yet to be included in a matchday 18.

Crowe, Hammond, Clarke, Benyu these are all seriously exciting talents for the future, add Donnelly into the mix takes us old ones back to the days when youth players were coming through regularly, the opportunity is there for all of them!

Apparently this lad is the most promising player at town at present! Dozzell gets the limelight because of his name but this lad could be the real deal!
