Town Unchanged Against Reading

Town boss Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged side for this afternoon’s home game against Reading.

Teddy Bishop, who signed a new contract yesterday, looks set to play on the right of a four-man midfield with ex-Royal Jay Tabb, who is 31 today, is on the left. New signings Richard Chaplow and Luke Varney are on the bench.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Bru, Bishop, Tabb, Murphy, Sears. Subs: Gerken, Parr, Stewart, Anderson, Chaplow, Varney, Clarke.

Reading: Federici, Kelly, Obita, Pearce (c), Hector, Chalobah, Williams, Mackie, Robson-Kanu, Cox, Pogrebnyak. Subs: Andersen, Norwood, McCleary, Akpan, Yakubu, Blackman, Cooper. Referee: Eddie Ilderton (Tyne and Wear).
