West Brom Defender Starts for U21s
Tuesday, 24th Feb 2015 13:10

West Brom defender Reiss Greenidge starts for Town’s U21s in this afternoon’s game against Brentford at their Jersey Road training ground (KO 1pm).

Greenidge, 18, is a 6ft 5in tall centre-half or left-back who recently spent four months on loan at Port Vale with a view to making a permanent switch but was unable to break into their first team.

As expected, Alex Henshall (pictured above) is the most senior player in the Town side with the winger playing his first game since suffering a knee injury which limited his opportunities during his month on loan at Blackpool.

Bryan Klug and David Wright are in charge of the team with U21s coach Mark Kennedy's wife due to give birth.

U21s: Crowe, Hammond, Robinson, Greenidge, Wyatt, Benyu, Guldbrandsen, McLoughlin, Patterson, McQueen, Henshall. Subs: Hayes, Emmanuel, Ramadan, C Smith, Blanchfield.
