U12s Win Dublin Tournament

Town’s U12s carried off the Pro 10 International Cup in Dublin this afternoon after beating local representative side DDSL Blue 4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in the final.

The U12s received sponsorship for the tournament, which was staged by the Peamount United club, from Farnham Leisure Ltd.

Marcus added 07:20 - Mar 30 It's it's just based on height Tabb and Sears would fit in ;) Seriously though any victory is great but what's more important is that young players are developing. While some argue that matches aren't the first priority for young players there's nothing like the feeling of a victory.

Mentioned in post about the under 18's that I worried about our Cat 1 application as hadn't heard anything lately.
Looks as though my concern was well founded as Brian Klug said in todays EADT,that Mr Evans would decide by the end of season whether Ipswich will re-apply.
Not sure of timescales but it looks as though we have missed a year.
Apparently more stringent criteria than when previously applied,and from Brians remarks looks as though my not bother.
