Dozzell Wins Cap as England Win
Thursday, 2nd Apr 2015 20:49

Academy schoolboy Andre Dozzell won his seventh cap as England’s U16s beat Turkey 1-0 in their second game at the Montaigu Tournament in France this evening, Arsenal's Reiss Nelson scoring the winning goal eight minutes from time.

Central midfielder Dozzell, 15, played the full 80 minutes, having been a second-half sub in the 4-1 victory over Mexico in the opening match on Tuesday.

England complete their group fixtures with a game against the Ivory Coast on Saturday, then take on one of France, Brazil, Belgium or Morocco from the other group in the play-off stage of the competition.

Well done lad. Hope you can get into the ipswich team in time to come and show as much passion for your home town club as your dad did. I will never forget him in that 91/92 div 2 team ( now called the championship).
