Town have announced ticketing details for the two-legged Championship play-off semi-final against Norwich City. The Blues host the Canaries in the first leg next Saturday (KO 12.15pm) with the away game at Carrow Road the following Saturday (KO 12.15pm).

The home leg, which is not included with season tickets, is priced at Grade A and will be available online from ITFC Direct or at Planet Blue.

Tickets for the home semi-final will go on sale to Platinum and Gold Card holders from Sunday 3rd May at 8am, to season ticket holders from Monday 4th May at 8am, Silver Card holders from Tuesday 5th May at 8am and then go on general sale from Wednesday 6th May, 8am.

Season ticket holders’ seats will be reserved until Wednesday 6th May with any unsold seats released for general sale at 8am on Wednesday 6th May.

Platinum members, Gold members, Silver members and season ticket holders will be able to buy their own seat plus one additional ticket per customer number. Supporters purchasing once seats are on general sale may buy up to four tickets per customer number. All fans will receive a paper ticket for the home semi-final.

Fans on the pre-payment cup scheme will have their ticket automatically processed on this evening.

For the second leg, tickets will be sold one per customer number and only online. The club will use the priority customer number entitlement based on the advance purchase of away tickets throughout the season, as previously used for earlier game at Norwich.

After that Gold Card holders can purchase their tickets from Saturday 9th May at 8am, season ticket holders from Sunday 10th May at 8am and Silver Card holders from Monday 11th May at 8am, before any remaining will go on general sale on Tuesday 12th May at 8am.

If I'm Season Ticket Holder but have only been to 3 away games, do you think i will get tickets?

I was speaking to some budgies the other day and they said the club was going to let ST holders get their seat for free for any home playoff game. Not sure if this is true or not, but away tickets at Carrot road for £25 puts our grade A BS to shame!

I hope the extortionate prices don't put people off attending, it would be a massive shame to see any empty seats at such a massive game!

It seems as though it isn't Delia who is the a-hole...

Away tickets (not that I care what budgies pay) are almost 50% higher at PR - DISGUSTING!

Absolutely desperate for 2 tickets for the away leg. If someone is able to help me out I will be forever grateful :(:(

So grade will be the best part of £36. I don't mind as its a big game. But as a season ticket holder I would've like to have seen a reduced rate. Hopefully that won't price out people, I would love to see a packed PR.

So if a fan has not paid for a silver membership or any other , but has bought 10 home and 10 away tickets plus a couple of cup tickets through his membership number this season , they may still lose out when they go on general sale to someone who has not been in five + years.? Hardly seems fair.

You would think this was an ideal opportunity for a bit of PR and season ticket holders to get their seats for free. Its not like ME can't afford it. As for charging Norwich supporters twice what the home supporters are paying it is disgraceful.

So I pay 17 pound per game as a season ticket holder.now I'm being asked to pay 32 almost double for 1 game.I thought season ticket holders were looked after.clearly not in this case as will have to pay the same price as someone who hasn't been all season.I only pat 20 quid for England games.come on itfc sort it out coz 32 quid ain't happening

Just wondered why my season ticket seat is £13 more for this game ???? when the canaries is far less money ???? I just hope that ITFC have not priced fans out of this game, because it would have been Great to see PR full for once !!!

Fantastic to have made the play-offs, but the best part of £40 for my home season ticket seat when NCFC are charging £25 is very steep indeed and not a way to thank the fans.

In an earlier post said that will be a full house.
Well the greed of the Evans empire looks as though it wont be.
Congratulations to Norwich for sensible pricing for tickets to a ground which is several thousand seats smaller than PR.
I have been supporting Ipswich for over 50 years and a season ticket holder since they were introduced in Churchmans (for Standing).
You and your cohorts Mr Evans are a greedy capitalist who I believe has your company domiciled in Eire for tax reasons and your personal tax I understand is also in some tax haven.

A F***ing joke...... Season ticket holders all season, & my family of 4 will have to fork out £94.50 for that one match, disgraceful, f***ing disgraceful......

Not sure it is fair that a season ticket holder can purchase a ticket for a "Johnny come lately" on Monday whilst someone like me who cannot make every game, but still has a Silver Membership has to wait until Tuesday to get their's

Moan moan moan

Portman Road will still be full even if some don't go. Don't forget Norwich have parachute payments to allow them to reduce prices.

Watch it on Sky if you don't want to go!!

I think you lot should quit moaning quick time. I'm devastated that as soon as I move to Canada we make the playoffs after I've watched years of hurt. At least can go! The reality is that there is no perfect structure. And there are genuine diehard fans who can't make games that often. If you live in Ipswich and nothing to do on a Saturday afternoon good for you but for many of us earning a living, family or geography stand in the way. I'm fed up with hearing from these self-entitled fans you feel that just because they turn up to moan every week that makes them superfan! I don't like to see town fans taken for a ride but a little perspective and some positivity would be great..... WE ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE FORST TIME IN A DECADE!!!

Well done Norwich. Sensible pricing. Disappointing from Ipswich. Season ticket holders should be given a reduced rate.

You down mark me all like, I don't give a .... I stand by my opinion, the club have over stepped the mark with the pricing for this game, your right it probably will be a sell out, but just wait & see the crowds drop like a stone if we don't get promoted.....

Michael11 added 18:47 - May 2
I'm sorry but why should your ST get you an away ticket? You get guaranteed a home ticket. I live up north and travelling/ticket costs to 10 away games has probably cost more than the most expensive ST at Portman Road. If you haven't been arsed to go away then why should you get one?

Suffolk_n_Good added 18:47 - May 2
Toronto_Tractor clearly your post is aimed at me, but you can shove it where the sun don't shine, I at no point claimed to a superfan?!?! & just because I paid £1000 for my family of 4 to have season tickets doesn't make me any more a fan than anyone else, if we had finished outside the play offs the club would not have made any additional money, this is a missed chance for the club to get Portman Road rocking with a sensible pricing structure, they have failed, & instead decided to fleece the genuine fan.

I think this is a bit of an own goal by the club especially as Norwich dropped their prices
Hope it doesn't put too many off going as it will be embarrassing if there are lots of empty seats

I assume all of our pubs n clubs will be out of bounds to scummers. In the spirit of reciprocal arrangements, of course. Coppers must be meeting already to dream up ways of making it an unpleasant experience for all
