Fans Around the World Meeting Up for Play-Off Second Leg
Friday, 15th May 2015 13:04

While 2,042 Blues will be at Carrow Road for Saturday’s play-off derby semi-final second leg against Norwich City, with the game live on TV in the UK and abroad, supporters across the country and around the globe will be meeting up in pubs and bars to cheer Town on to victory and a place at Wembley (Sky Sports 1, from midday, KO 12.15pm).

The South-West Branch of the Supporters Club will as usual be meeting up at Toto's in Bristol city centre with all fellow Town fans welcome. For more details email Tony Stimson.

For those in Birmingham, the venue has now changed to The Crown. If you’re planning to attend, send forum regular DantheMan a PM to let him know so he can gauge numbers.

The London Branch meet-up at the Jetlag Sports Bar has now reached its capacity.

Chairman Horry Money told TWTD: "We have had an unbelievable response from London-based Town fans."

Money asks for those coming along to make the pub into a Blue haven of Town shirts and flags.

If you’re watching Saturday’s match at a pub or bar in some far-flung part of the nation or world, post it in the comments below. Please do not post links to illegal streams here or on the forum.

CALLING TORONTO - I'm in Grand Island, NY and thinking about making the drive up to the Football Factory for the game. How many Town fans were there for the First Leg? And where would I park?

If anyone is in Les Laurentides north of Montreal Canada on Saturday and knows a Bar where the game is playing… please tell me! Otherwise I will be dreaming of glory whilst humming the tune of that old Tom Jones classic “The green, green, grass of home.”

My old home town looks the same
As I step down from the train
And there to meet me, is my mama and papa
Down Portman Road I look, and there stands Bobby
For the Town, he's always ready
It's good to touch the green grass of, Portman Road

Yes they'll all come to meet me
Mick Mills and Butch, and course, the Beatty
And once more I'll touch the green, green, grass, of home

Then I awake and look around me,
And I realise my North Stand seat is just a dream
Cos I'm exiled in a land, where there's no real footy
There's no club, no docks, no jewel on the Orwell
No Suffolk sights that I know, oh so well
I long to touch, the green, green, grass of home

For there's no pie and beer there waiting
At half time, when Murphy's been so devastating..
Until once more I touch, the green, green grass of home

But you'll all come to meet me
We'll be as one, and will win at Wembley
And once more the Town will touch, the green, green, grass, of home

Come on you Blues!!

it'll be on BeIN again in oz - lets hope they do a better job with the commentary - the commentator was convinced Varney was fouled for his injury - despite a number of replays showing that nobody was anywhere near him! ..
