Reading Game on Sky, Brighton Date Moves
Tuesday, 30th Jun 2015 12:35

Town’s visit to Reading has switched to Friday 11th September for live Sky coverage, while December’s trip to Brighton has moved back a day.

The game at the Madejski Stadium will kick-off at 8pm, while the Blues will now travel to the Amex Stadium on Tuesday 29th December with the match starting at 7.45pm, presumably to give the squads longer to rest after the Boxing Day fixtures.

And so it begins! We'll do well to beat the amount of televised games we had last season!

Trains don't run between London and Brighton between Xmas and New year so there's no chance of getting home on that Tuesday night unless you drive. Why did they change the time??

So just to be crystal clear, the Reading game has moved because it's on Sky. The Brighton game has moved for reasons that are unrelated to Sky, and has not been announced as a Sky match. Is that right?

Just had a look at the fixtures list, and now understand why the Brighton game has been moved. This is how it looked before:
Sat 26 Dec 3:00pm Queens Park Rangers H
Mon 28 Dec 3:00pm Brighton and Hove Albion A
I'm guessing they're after another days rest before on to Brighton Away.

The Brighton game will have been put back a day on agreement of both clubs, due to boxing day fixtures. A second day to recover is sensible.

That's great news about the Reading game for me. I'll be in the North East for the Great North Run that weekend so a televised game on a Friday evening is the only way I was ever going to see it

A shocking record we have at the Mad Stad.

More 'humiliation in front of the nation?'

Moving the Brighton game is a PITA really. Monday 28th is a holiday, Tuesday 29th is not.

Ridiculous moving that Brighton game from a holiday to a non holiday. Should not be allowed.
