U18s Lose at Arsenal
Tuesday, 14th Jul 2015 20:50

Town’s U18s were beaten 2-1 at Arsenal in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier this afternoon, striker Ben Morris, one of the new intake of first-year scholars, scoring the Blues’ goal.

Morris put the young Blues ahead just before half-time but the Gunners struck back via Vlad Dragomir and Marcus Agyei-Tabi (pen) after the break.

The U18s are next in action against Cambridge United at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

Meanwhile, Danish U18 international midfielder Victor Guldbrandsen is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury last week.

U28s: Wright, Daly, Bombelenga, Fowler, Cole, Jones, Blanchfield, Dozzell, Morris, Meldrum, Folami. Subs used: Woolfenden, Hayes, Cathline, Muamba, Ford, Ingram, Fullwood, McKendry, Hanson.

There was a time, along time ago, when we expected, as a matter of course, to beat the likes of arseole, manure etc

Perhaps one day we will again

Its not about the result , its about spending a huge sum of money for 3 years on football development and then letting them go as they won't dislodge tabby ,different class dwarf. Hi Ho
