More than 4,500 fans attended last year’s event. Boss McCarthy is a big fan of the event: “It’s lovely, it’s a nice day. I’m looking forward to it.” On the FieldTurf behind the East of England Co-op Stand there will be, amongst many other attractions, coaching sessions put on by Town and the Suffolk FA, giant inflatables, bouncy castles, sand arts, Dream Team and Co’s Frozen Princesses, face painting from the East of England Co-op, Go Ape’s Segway Experience, the Yum Yum Cookery School, Seckford Golf, Just Jay Dance, 10-pin bowling with Namco Funscape and three horses from the Suffolk Punch Trust. BBC Radio Suffolk’s Mark Murphy will be broadcasting live from 9am until noon, while the rest of the Life’s a Pitch team and several Blues legends will also be along and John Wark will be signing autographs.
