Inexperienced U21 Side Faces Bluebirds

Cameron Stewart and Alex Henshall are the only players with first-team experience in the Blues U21 side facing Cardiff City at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).

New keeper Jonathan Henly is in goal, Kyle Hammond skippers from right back and Dylan Connolly also starts.

U21s: Henly, Hammond (c), Bombalenga, Blanchfield, Fowler, Robinson, Connolly, McLoughlin, Ford, Stewart, Henshall. Subs: Wright, Woolfenden, Maynard, Ramadan, Morris.

Cardiff: O’Reilly, Barnum-Bobb, Abbruzzese, Patten, Watkins, Baker, Southam, Weymans, Healey, O’Sullivan (c), Roche. Subs: Blaise, Wakeman, Veale, Burridge, Noor.

Blimey, I know I told you about Woolfie at the end of last season and said he was one to look out for but he's only just turned 16 and he's on the bench for the U 21's.

Well done young man.

MB, also looks Wrightys boy is the sub keeper, and he must also be only just 16.
