Saturday, 10th Oct 2015 10:15

Ryan Fraser and Jonathan Henly could win U21 caps with Scotland this afternoon, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is with the England U19s.

Scotland’s U21s face France in a Euro 2017 qualifier at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie, Fraser’s hometown club where he started his career (KO 3pm). The 21-year-old travelled back to Scotland, despite missing Town's game with Blackburn with an ankle problem.

Last month winger Fraser netted the winner as Scotland won their opening qualifier 2-1 away in Northern Ireland.

Keeper Henly, also 21, who joined the Blues earlier in the season following a trial having been released by Reading, an unused sub.

Fraser, who is with Town for the season from AFC Bournemouth, has previously won nine U21 caps and Henly one. The Scots face Iceland in another qualifier on Tuesday, also in Aberdeen.

Maitland-Niles will be hoping to win his third England U19 cap when they face Finland in Skopje in the second game of their Euro 2016 qualifying group (KO 2pm).

On Thursday Maitland-Niles scored a late second goal having come on as a substitute as they beat hosts Macedonia 2-0.

The winger, who is on loan with Town from Arsenal for the season, has scored in each of his first two games for the England U19s having netted in the friendly in Germany last month.

The England youngsters next take on Italy in their final group game on Tuesday.
