Town’s U18s were beaten 1-0 by Watford at a windy Playford Road this morning.

The Hornets, who are top of the Professional Development League Two South, netted the game’s only goal in the first half.

U18s: Hayes, Colclough, Cathline, Fowler, Bombalenga, Maynard (Muamba 19), Downes, McKendry, Davis (Fullwood 65), Ford (Ingram 65), Meldrum. Unused: Cahill, Wright.

Seasider added 16:28 - Nov 7 What a game,Ipswich looking comfortable at half time,then when its 4=0 thought this is first thrashing that we have dished out with Mick in charge;having been ill when TC took charge of Town when they beat Middlesborough by this score. Then lo and behold Rotherham who were there for the taking get two back soon after and we are back to hanging on to our two goal lead.
