Monday, 16th Nov 2015 12:57

Town have included Shilow Tracey, a 17-year-old trialist who is currently with Ebbsfleet United’s academy, in the U21s side facing Brentford at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).

Midfielder Tracey, whose only senior appearance for National League South side Fleet came as a sub in a Kent Senior Cup tie last season, has already spent time training with Tottenham and is also reported to be interesting West Ham, Stoke City, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday. He played and scored twice for Charlton's U18s at the weekend.

U21s: Henly, Emmanuel, Kenlock, McDonnell, Fowler, Robinson (c), Tracey, Hammond, Alabi, Ford, Henshall. Subs: Ramadan, Hayes, Salaudeen, Blanchfield, McKendry.

McDonnell, Hammond, Henshall - all highly praised by MM at some point but not really given much of a chance.

Yet another defeat, now only about one win in 9 or 10,bit like the first team was.

It was also like this last year I recall.Dont know whether it is Mick only having time for first team league games,as his record in cups etc is abysmal;or whether Sparky isn't up to it,but the U21 development squad has a very poor record f late.
