Striker James Alabi was on target as Town’s U21s drew 1-1 away at QPR this afternoon.

The former Stoke man stuck on 75 to give the Blues the lead with Sebastian Polter netting the equaliser from the penalty spot after a foul by Myles Kenlock with five minutes left on the clock.

Midfielder Luke Hyam played the first 74 minutes of his first game since suffering a knee injury in January.

Assuming he won't be in the squad this weekend per this game seems a shame. Likewise heard great things about McDonnel - anywhere near a chance? Connolly supposedly class, subbed on 54 mins why? What's happened with him, not clicked?
