ITFC On The Road: Bury Sold Out, London Could Be Hit By Tube Strike
Tuesday, 12th Jan 2016 16:21

The Supporters Club's ITFC On The Road event in London on Tuesday 26th January could be hit by a Tube strike, while the evening at Bury Town on Monday 8th February is now sold out.

The London event is due to be held at the Horseshoe pub in Clerkenwell, Farringdon but could be affected by a Tube strike currently set to start at 6.30pm.

London Underground and the unions are holding talks on Friday, which may result in the strike being called off. However, if after that meeting the strike is still due to go ahead the event will be rescheduled for a later date.

If the event goes ahead as planned, host Simon Milton will be joined by some of the current first team for a question and answer session. If previous years are to go by there may well be some surprise guests on the night too.

The evening (doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start), which is in aid of the ITFC Academy, will also include a raffle and auction. In order to gauge numbers tickets are available in advance for a small charge of £5, payable on the door, to cover costs. If any tickets are unsold then there will be entry on the night.

To reserve your ticket contact Elizabeth Edwards via officialitsc@btinternet.com or by phone on 07968 876504. Liz will also have tickets in the 78 Bar before home games, Legends Bar after home matches and at all away fixtures.

The event at Bury Town’s Ram Meadow on Monday 8th February is now sold out, however, anyone still wanting to go should contact Liz Edwards (see details above) in case of any returns, although there's already a waiting list. Please let Liz know if you were planning to go but now cannot attend so your ticket can be reallocated.

As in previous years, Bury Town will provide their usual excellent catering service with burgers and hot dogs etc available on the night.
