Foley in for Hyam at Huddersfield
Saturday, 27th Feb 2016 14:27

Kevin Foley replaces Luke Hyam in an otherwise unchanged Town side facing Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium this afternoon (KO 3pm).

Hyam came off during Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat to Hull with a hamstring injury and isn’t over the problem.

Youngsters James Blanchfield, who was offered a professional contract earlier this week, and Andre Dozzell travelled with the squad for experience but aren’t included in the matchday 18.

Huddersfield: Steer, Smith, Davidson, Whitehead, Hudson (c), Hogg, Matmour, Bunn, Wells, Dempsey, Lynch. Murphy, Paterson, Cranie, Husband, Holmes, Manu, Bojaj.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers, Berra, Smith, Knudsen, Pringle, Foley, Douglas, Sears, Pitman, Murphy. Subs: Gerken, Digby, Bru, Touré, Tabb, Maitland-Niles, Varney.

Is Foley a right back? Are we playing 352? Or just a right back in midfield?

doesnt need to be financial just a coach that can teach a team to play football rather than hoofball

Nothing against Foley as I haven't seen him play but Bru must be wondering what he has to do to get in the team if a fullback starts in midfield before him!

Oh dear , MM picks a semi injured Hyam vs Hull ,and oh look another hamstring injury in our squad ,that must be 70 percent of the 1st 11 who have suffered this injury. What a joke we are on many fronts ,sq pegs end holes all over the show.

Remember reading comments from wolves fans saying that MM used to play Foley as a midfielder and he wasn't as effective, a better full back. Let's be honest he isn't dropping Chambers...ever! So this looks like another square peg in a round hole. We deserve all we get this season, which won't be much!

Seriously why is Bru on the bench. That team is abysmal. Start bru over Pittman, and Niles over Foley with Murphy and Sears up top.

We having nothing to lose anymore, why are we still lining up so defensively.

Bru has been far from brilliant the last couple of games , hyam would have played if fit , foley is the natural replacement for him , this team is good enough to beat huddersfield , if they dont , i think a few of this team need to stand up and take the flack rather than mm all the while

We've no chance if Huddersfield are playing all 18 players and no subs

I'm not normally one for negative comments but against hull we were woeful. We didn't have a single footballer in the team. And when I say footballer I mean someone that can put there foot on the ball, not panic and keep hold of it before finding the right pass. Again we have gone for 2 defensive and not the greatest on the ball in contral midfield. BRU should be starting no doubt about it. Unfortunately it is going to be another loss for us today because their midfielders will just breeze past ours. All we have at the moment it's the long ball from the defenders or passing back to the keeper. I really do hope skuse and others become fit soon before we really full down the table. When everyone is fit I feel we have a pretty good team to challange for tops six but no where near the top 2. Release some money Evans MM has proved he is a good manager with what he has done so far so please back him the transfer market!

Bru has been poor all season and shows a lack of commitment in the tackle and at present does not deserve to start even in this side.
