Friday, 25th Mar 2016 18:35

Blues defender Josh Yorwerth played the full 90 minutes as the Wales U21s drew 0-0 with Bulgaria in Stara Zagora in a Euro 2017 qualifier this afternoon.

The 21-year-old centre-half, who is on loan at Crawley Town for the rest of the season, was winning his sixth U21s cap. Blues keeper Michael Crowe, 20, was an unused sub and is still waiting to make his Wales U21s debut.

The Welsh youngsters, who are coached by former Town midfielder Geraint Williams, are in action again against Romania in Medias in another qualifier on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Town striker Daryl Murphy has been named amongst the subs for the Republic of Ireland's friendly against Switzerland in Dublin this evening (Premier Sports, 7.45pm).
