Andre Dozzell is handed his full debut and Cole Skuse and Brett Pitman return to the Town line-up, while Kevin Bru, Kevin Foley and David McGoldrick drop to the bench.

The Blues seem set to start with Dozzell in a central midfield three ahead of Skuse and Jonathan Douglas, with Liam Feeney and Freddie Sears either side of Pitman up front. Town loanees Richard Stearman and Ryan Tunnicliffe start for the Cottagers at right-back and in midfield respectively.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Douglas, Skuse, Dozzell, Feeney, Sears, Pitman. Subs: Gerken, McGoldrick, Bru, Hyam, Kenlock, Digby, Foley.

Fulham: Bettinelli, Stearman, Hutchinson, Burn, Ream, Tunnicliffe, Parker (c), Ince, Christensen, McCormack, Dembele. Subs: Lonergan, Garbutt, Fredericks, Smith, Cairney, Woodrow, Baird. Referee: Paul Tierney (Lancashire).

Bru and McGoldrick on bench. Usual defensive midfield. Wish I had not bothered coming after flying home all night.

Would have put Bru instead of Douglas. He's risking Hyam again? O_o

Micks favourite Douglas back in. Once again set up not to lose with him and Skuse

I am beginning to have no interest when the combination of skuse and Douglas make the starting 11! It's cr@p to be generous!!

What a letdown after all the huge excitement this time last year for the playoffs

WOW! Perennial "FIFA Ballon D'or" candidates Skuse and Douglas starting ..... together! ... in this Hoof Town's always ultra creative-minded midfield. And to think I was just about to bet the farm that that exact scenario would ever never happen again, in a ITFC shirt anyway! :-) Guess the tactical super gifted The Dinosaur is STILL .... hmmm ... hmmm.... hmm .... hmmm ..."As predictable as a wasp on speed!"LOL (credit as well as apologies to the champ of one-liners i.e. darts legend Sid Waddell :-)

What do people expect? He is a defensive long ball manager who likes old fashioned type of footballers. Skuse, despite being average, will never be dropped.

MartInLondon:
No offense but after this long time, here at IPswich especially, with Super Mick I just have to counter your post with a proverbial: "No sheeeeet Sherlock!" :-)
And BTW please define "average", if you would be so kind .... Cause in mine and LOTS of other purely objective ITFC fans eyes, Skuse is (like the other 2 of The Dinosaurs favorite midfield grinders/pets btw) the vast majority of the time "Barely Mediocre" .... at best!!!!!!!!!!! And this governs pretty much everything he does i.e. defensive-minded stuff obviously 1st and foremost , but also his truly just "awe-inspiring" passing skills ..... meaning overwhelmingly sideways or backwards passing skills , mind you! lol

Skuse..average. Bang average championship player. Does what he said she on the tin. Lacks the pace, passing range, ability to run with the ball which defines a premier league player or even a top championship player.

Now please correct me if I'm wrong .....but ehhhhh haven't we seen this once or MAYBE twice before, particular in this here calendar year with Super Micks tactical master plan at its very finest work i.e. "Defend, Hoof, Defend, Hoof repeat repeat.... and if Madame Fortuna smiles our way "We might JUST nick it from a set-piece "??? lol

Arrogant idiot is untouchable. I believe he is flexing his muscles against us supporters. Season over and he sets up for nil nil. Not one shot on or off target in 45 minutes. Pathetic. Training pathetic, when was last time we scored from a set piece????????

Just couldn't be bothered to go tonight - had a feeling he would set up (for once hahaha) again, not to lose.

Talk is cheap Michael - I think you are so arrogant, you are taking the proverbial pee out of every supporter.
Problem there is - some will / would never see it, for more than one reason.

Agree .... and agree!, Martin587

Ohhhh wait! Because according to Applied Murphology (a sort of devotion obviously based on good ol' "Murphy's Law") ....

"Things will get worse BEFORE they get better!"

And my favorite corollary to the above is "Who says things will ACTUALLY get better?" lol

But I can also fittingly quote W.C.Fields: "Everybody gotta believe in something .... I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!"

CHEERS!

I give up for another season!I wonder how many seasons in over 40 years I've said that!!

Ditto Singapore! But look on the bright side --- that is IF you are still 'hanging out' in southern Asia? -- cause if you are a fan abroad you are likely not physically capable of and therefore neither don't feel strangely and almost inexplicably "COMPELLED" to go & travel (while spending LOTS of hard earned pesos! ) to actually watch this utter dire dross and their obviously ORDERED anti-football live, like the rest of us here ..... :-)
