George Burley will have to decide whether to risk Sixto Peralta in his side which faces West Ham at Upton Park today. The Argentinian has trained for the last two days without aggravating his thigh strain but is still not considered 100%

Jermaine Wright missed training on Thursday and Friday as a precaution, but is available to George Burley and, if Peralta starts on the right of midfield, Wright is likely to join Matt Holland in the centre.

Chris Makin is definitely out for two weeks and Fabian Wilnis will take over from him at right-back. Makin damaged ankle ligaments against Villa.

Finidi George's back strain looks like it will make him unavailable today, although he is likely to be OK for the home game with Chelsea.

Burley has one new injury worry, striker Pablo Couñago twisted an ankle in training and hasn't travelled. The Town boss has confirmed that Darren Bent, called up to the senior side for the first time in weeks, will start on the bench. The youngster should get a run-out at some stage and will be looking for his first league goal.

Also out is Titus Bramble. The central defender has been given an injection on his ankle and although he was expected to be available for the Chelsea game it is now thought unlikely that he will be OK for at least a week. A summer operation is also on the cards.

Wayne Brown, just back from his loan spell with Watford, is also injured, he has a pulled hamstring and is out for two or three weeks.

West Ham have no injury worries other than long-term casualty Don Hutchison.

Town squad: Sereni, Marshall, Wilnis, Clapham, Hreidarsson, McGreal, Venus, Gaardsøe, Holland, Magilton, Wright, Peralta, T Miller, George, Reuser, Stewart, M Bent, Armstrong, Couñago, D Bent and Le Pen.

West Ham Squad: James, Schemmel, Winterburn, Dailly, Repka, Pearce, Carrick, Sinclair, Cole, Di Canio, Kanoute, Defoe, Lomas, Labant, Courtois, Kitson, Moncur, Minto, Foxe, Garcia and Hislop.
