Murphy Unused Sub as Ireland Draw Monday, 13th Jun 2016 19:01 Town striker Daryl Murphy was an unused sub as the Republic of Ireland drew 1-1 with Sweden in their opening game at Euro 2016.
Wes Hoolahan put Ireland in front on 48 with the Swedes equalising via a Ciaran Clark own goal in the 71st minute.
Belgium face Italy in this evening’s other Group E game at 8pm. Ireland face the Belgians on Saturday and then the Italians a week on Wednesday.

I agree with you clint_eastwood, i thought robbie keane didnt do much at all when he came on, probably only touched the ball twice from what i saw. Murph would of done alot better with the aerial challenges and holding the ball up there especially with the height the swedes | | |
