Life’s a Pitch comes live from Town’s new Fanzone on the FieldTurf behind the East of England Co-op Stand prior to Saturday's game against Preston (Radio Suffolk 12-2pm) with host Mark Murphy joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, while Blues legend Jason Dozzell and MD Ian Milne are amongst the guests.

Dozzell, whose son Andre will be in the Blues squad for tomorrow's game, is now coaching at the Town academy.

The free to enter Fanzone is now a regular feature of weekend games at Portman Road featuring bars, live music, food, a kids' area and a chance to take your place in this season’s squad photo.

It is open to season ticket holders, those with match tickets and club members from three hours before kick-off. More details here.

Seasider added 17:29 - Aug 26 Understand that bar staff were taken from Legends to the Fanzone for the last match resulting in insufficient numbers and huge q's and long waits for service.Hope that will rectified. Nice to see that the plastic forks for food are more substantial this season,as the others were not up to the job and kept breaking;so I had to resort to bringing my own.
