Crowe Could Win First Wales U21s Cap
Friday, 2nd Sep 2016 10:23

Town keeper Michael Crowe could win his first Wales U21s cap this evening when the side coached by ex-Blue Geraint Williams takes on Denmark in a Euro 2017 qualifier at Wrexham (KO 5pm, live on BBC Online).

London-born, Norway-raised Crowe (pictured above left with Joe Robinson), 20, who qualifies for Wales via his grandmother, is most likely to be on the bench having yet to break into the U21s after previously winning caps at U19 level.

The Welsh youngsters, who are also in action against Luxembourg at Bangor on Tuesday, are currently third in their qualifying group after seven games, four points behind leaders Denmark and one off Romania in second.

The winners qualify for the final tournament in Poland next June, while the four best runners-up go into play-offs.
