Town youngster Monty Patterson has been named in the New Zealand squad for their World Cup qualifiers against New Caledonia later this month.

The All Whites face Les Cagous in Auckland on Saturday 12th November, then again in Koné on the following Tuesday.

Patterson, 19, has previously won seven caps and recently scored his first international goal in New Zealand’s 1-1 friendly draw with the USA.

The striker or midfielder, who is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues, is currently on a month’s youth loan with Vanarama National League side Braintree Town.
