Knudsen Could Win First Cap as Town Player Tuesday, 15th Nov 2016 09:51 Left-back Jonas Knudsen could win his first international cap as a Town player when Denmark face the Czech Republic in a friendly in Mladá Boleslav this evening. Knudsen, who picked up two full caps while with Esbjerg fB, was a late call into the Danish squad on Thursday and was left out of the matchday 23 for Friday’s 4-1 victory over Kazakhstan in a World Cup qualifier in Copenhagen. Speaking at the end of last year, Knudsen, who has also been capped at U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels, said he was hoping to catch the eye of the then-recently appointed Hareide, a one-time Norwich City player, and establish himself in the Danish side. He was subsequently named in the squad for the Kirin Cup in Japan in the summer but was forced to pull out due to injury.
