Well played Town; probably missed out on all 3 points but so much improved and so much more confident. Well done McC for bringing back Berra; a really good performance seeing off Wood. However, Huws and a McGoldrick again outstanding. Really worried about Bishop; he is struggling to make an impact. It's beginning to look a genuine resurgence.

Thoroughbly enjoyable game.

Stand out performers for me were McGoldrick, Berra and Huws.

McGoldrick has such quick feet. He did things with the ball that are a joy to watch. If he was anything more than an average finisher he would be playing for a top PL team.

Berra was a tower of strength in the middle of the back three, as opposed to a fish out of water that at left half.

Huws looks like a helluva player. Confident on the ball, strong, aggresssive, and has a good range of passing.

Impressive following from Leeds, and they have a team that likes to move the ball around. The two centre halves were an excellent pairing, and coped well with Freddie's runs into the channels.

We still look a little toothless in front of goal, so overall I'd say 1-1 was about fair.

I agree with all the previous comments, but feel that Grant Ward also deserves special mention. I thought that today was his best performance in an Ipswich shirt, operating in the central midfield in a 3-5-2 really suits him. For months I have been saying our crying need was for a creative midfielder rather than a striker, and now we have two at our disposal - Ward and Huws.

Following on from the promising performance in our last home game 2-2 draw against Reading, two gritty away games using a new formation yielding another 4 points, Town today against Leeds saw the whole team put in the most entertaining performance IMO for nearly two years.
Despite not picking up a deserved three points, the entertainment value alone was well worth the entrance fee. Town without suspended talisman Lawrence, had only one player, Huws that is contracted to another club, in the squad, so things are starting to change for the good. Four games unbeaten, we must now make that five on our neighbour's turf?

Today we were the better team and deserved the three points. Grant Ward is becoming a different class, David McGoldrick is back to his best and it's great to see Searsy playing like that. A cracking goal too. And I must point out Myles Kenlock who closed down brilliantly today.
Town closed down very well too, Leeds didn't get alot of time on the ball. Well played Ipswich - bring on the Canaries!!!! Also the Leeds fans were excellent today. BLUE ARMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
